Ryan _loves_ our pets (a cat and a dog). Ten months after Ryan joined our family, the cat has finally begun warming up to him, and now allows Ryan to pet him if I am nearby. I guess he's finally accepted that Ryan is here to stay and figured he might as well get some petting out of it. When we tell Ryan to "give the kitty-cat a hug," he leans his head against the cat and smiles. So sweet!

This is very similar to how Drew and our dog interact. He's interested, she's tolerant. I think they (the animals) accept their place in the new pack pretty readily, but I still feel sorry for them sometimes. They didn't ask for it... :)
He gets cuter and cuter, by the way.

such cute pics!!! Our Black Lab is still living with my parents in FL and I can't wait to get her up here!!! Brady likes dogs so I know he'll be happy to have her here too. It's fun watching the kids and animals interact!!
