We started our first adoption process in August 2006, intending to adopt a little boy from Vietnam. In December 2006, our agency offered us the opportunity to adopt through their new program in Taiwan. We received Ryan's referral on December 11, 2006, and traveled to Taiwan in July 2007 to bring him home. As of May 2008, we have officially begun the process to adopt a second child from Taiwan.
Ryan is 11 months old today! He learned to pull himself up to a standing position about 2 weeks ago, and has since become very proficient at it. He has also become quite the climber. He had a great time showing off his skills (and his big smile) for the camera last night.
