We started our first adoption process in August 2006, intending to adopt a little boy from Vietnam. In December 2006, our agency offered us the opportunity to adopt through their new program in Taiwan. We received Ryan's referral on December 11, 2006, and traveled to Taiwan in July 2007 to bring him home. As of May 2008, we have officially begun the process to adopt a second child from Taiwan.
Ryan wore his "Blog Star" T-shirt yesterday (from http://www.cafepress.com/heartonasleeve/2955108). When I tried to get a picture of him in it, he decided to pose with his ball and hat.
